As part of NY Transco’s process to provide information on the progress of the New York Energy Solution (NYES) project, there will be upcoming project survey work on utility-owned land in Pleasant Valley.
Starting Monday, 11/18 and over the course of the next few weeks, NY Transco will have a survey crew visiting ConEdison-owned Pleasant Valley Substation off Niagara Rd and National Grid-owned land south of Van Wagner Road to gather data to support the New York Energy Solution project engineering and design.
The work is being done by BL Companies and will take place during daylight hours with minimal noise or disruption. The approximate 2 person crews will travel in a truck and on foot, and have identification and information on the project if needed. Local police will be notified in advance of the work.
At the December 11th, 2019 Town Board Meeting, New York Transco will be presenting information regarding the Proposed Power Line Construction in Pleasant Valley.
NY Transco will be providing an update on the NYES transmission line upgrade project. The update follows the October 18th Article VII application submission to the New York Public Service Commission to site, construct, operate and maintain the NYES. More information about the project, including a link to Article VII application materials and a project overview video, can be found at www.NY-ES.com.
