Town Veterans Affair Committee Members Needed

The Town of Pleasant Valley is seeking three volunteers to serve a five year term on the Town’s Veterans Affairs Committee. Each member shall be a resident of Pleasant Valley, and shall have been honorably discharged from the Armed Forces of the United States, the Ready Reserve, or the National Guard. Veterans that are still currently serving are also eligible to serve on the committee. The committee shall meet on a monthly basis.

The Town’s Veterans Affairs Committee will address the needs of our town’s Veterans and their families to advise the Town Board on Veterans issues and plan Veterans events in the Town.

All applicants must submit a letter of interest to the Town Clerk, Mary Beth Muir, by email at townclerk@pleasantvalley-ny.gov or mail to Pleasant Valley Town Clerk 1554 Main Street Pleasant Valley, NY 12569 on or before October 16, 2020.
