Flag deposit box
The red mail box in front of the Town Hall is a flag deposit box. It is for the retirement of old flags that once were proudly displayed.
The deposit box was donated by the Pleasant Valley Post Office. The reconditioning was done by the American Legion Post # 739.
The American Legion and the Boy Scouts conduct a proper flag burning ceremony on June 14th of every year.
