Seeking Applicants for the Board of Assessment Review

The Town of Pleasant Valley is seeking applicants for the Board of Assessment Review.

Applicants must be at least 18 years old and have knowledge of local property values, and if appointed attend a four hour training course. The Board meets once a year on the 4th Tuesday in May to hear assessment complaints, along with the possibility of follow-up or deliberative thereafter. All applicants must submit a letter of interest to the Town Clerk, Mary Beth Muir, by email at townclerk@pleasantvalley-ny.gov on or before September 11, 2020.

Town Hall & Recreation Department Are Closed

EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY:

By order of the Town Supervisor, Frank Susczynski, the Pleasant Valley Town Hall and the Recreation Department are now CLOSED to the public until further notice to ensure the safety of our employees and residents.

All payments to the Town Clerk’s office such as Dog License renewals or Property Tax Payments can be done by mail. There will be NO fishing licenses sold.

As a reminder, please go directly to the Town Compactor to pay for your refuse. Until further notice it will be pay as you go and NO garbage tickets will be sold there. No cash or credit cards will be accepted.

Our town is continually monitoring the situation closely every day. Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.
